Fr. Melroy D Silva, a native of the parish. The Mass was concelebrated by Fr. John Fernandes, the Parish Priest, along with Fr. Mathias Dias, Fr. Charles Saldanha, and Fr. Joachim Dsouza. It was a grace-filled and joyful occasion for the children, who received Jesus for the first time in the Eucharist. May this sacred encounter deepen their love for the Lord and inspire them to grow in faith, purity of heart, and commitment to Christian values. The parish community extends heartfelt appreciation to the children and their families for their preparation and devotion, and encourages the children to continue nurturing this beautiful relationship with Jesus. The children were lovingly prepared by Sr Jevitha and the Faith Formation Commission members: Mrs. Mrs Anitha D Souza, Mrs Dulcine Suvarna, Mrs Pramila D Almeida and Mrs Evet Lewis. Their tireless efforts, patience, and dedicated guidance played a vital role in helping the children understand the beauty and significance of the Holy Eucharist. The parish gratefully acknowledges their hard work and commitment. Following the Eucharistic celebration, the children were felicitated, and a fellowship gathering was held where Cold drink and cake was served to all the faithful. The celebration was further enlivened as the children were led in procession by a musical band, adding joy and festivity to this memorable day.
