Welcome to Holy Family Church, Brahmavara. Birthday Celebration of Fr. John Fernandes
Fr. John Fernandes, Parish Priest of Holy Family Church, Brahmavar, celebrated his birthday today with the joyful participation of the parish community. At the beginning of the Holy Eucharist, Michael Furtado introduced the theme of the celebration and highlighted the significance of the occasion. The parishioners actively joined in the Mass with devotion and enthusiasm. A melodious choir, under the able leadership of Mrs. Gretta, rendered soulful hymns throughout the liturgical service. The prayer intentions were offered by Idel Jennifer Menezes.
Following the Mass, a warm felicitation programme was held. Vice President Mr. Ravi Prakash Gonsalves, together with Mrs. Gretta Joyce D’Souza (Coordinator of the 20 Commissions) and Fr. Matias Dias (Principal of Nirmala School, Brahmavar), greeted the Parish Priest and presented him with flowers. Mr. Ravi Prakash Gonsalves also offered warm words of good wishes on behalf of the parish community. The choir then sang a special birthday song, filling the atmosphere with joy and celebration. This was followed by the traditional cake-cutting ceremony, after which a simple breakfast was served to all those present.
